Emmy Awards 2021, The Crown e The Mandalorian in vetta con 24 nomination

Emmy Awards 2021, rese note tutte le nomination della 73ma edizione. Svettano su tutti The Crown e The Mandalorian con ben 24 nomination

Sono state rese note le nomination degli Emmy Awards 2021, il premio più prestigioso della televisione, dove vengono premiate le eccellenze della tv. L’edizione di quest’anno, giunta al 73° anno, vede dominare quelli che sono i colossi della produzione cinematografica e di serie tv. Netflix, Marvel e Disney +.

Netflix spicca con la serie The Crown, che si è aggiudicata il maggior numero di candidature, ben 24, ma ex aequo con The Mandalorian di Disney+, quest’ultima svetta soprattutto nelle categorie tecniche. Ben 23 sono le nomination per la serie Marvel di Disney+, WandaVision, mentre The Handmaid’s Tale ne conquista 21. Tra le comedy Ted Lasso ottiene 20 nomination, mentre le miniserie La regina degli scacchi e Omicidio a Easttown ricevono rispettivamente 18 nomination.

A destare sorpresa sono le 18 nomination per la serie horror soprannaturale Lovecraft Country, cancellata da HBO proprio pochi giorni prima delle nomination e dopo una sola stagione. La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 19 settembre, con modalità ancora tutte da definire e che seguiranno la curva dei contagi. Certa è la conduzione dell’attore comico Cedric The Entertainer.
